Town Hall, 7/13/08
Ah there's no better reason to try a good restaurant than your birthday. For my 26th (and my sister's 16th) we went to Town Hall in downtown San Francisco. Here's the evening:
Tuna tartare with fried green tomatoes, garlic chips, and Tabasco green onion vinaigrette
House smoked baby back ribs, pulled pork slider, and Stevie's coldslaw
Roasted Wolf Ranch quail, chorizo, manila clams, smashed purple potatoes and lemon parsley glaze
Buttermilk fried chicken, country biscuits, creamed corn and bacon gravy
Roasted Alaska halibut, corn pudding, porcini mushrooms, fava beans and bay shrimp salsa verde
Grilled Creekstone rib-eye, Romano beans, crispy onion rings and brown butter garlic sauce

Ah it begins!
So I'm been toying with the idea of food blogging for a long time. Now that I have the motivation and a healthy archive of food photos taken with my nearly five-year old Canon SD400 Powershot, I'm going to try and give all of you an idea of the kinds of food I'm lucky enough to eat. So leave comments, questions, and enjoy the pics!
